| 背面描述 | The reverse is printed in black with yellow and green accents, with a bold central vignette of a large numeral '50' against a black ground, within which a monkey crouches. Flanking the denomination are two rotund, nude figural vignettes rendered in a caricature style, each entwined with hop or vine foliage, evoking the tavern theme of the issuer. Humorous verses in Fraktur script appear at the top and bottom of the field. |

| 备注 |
Wyk auf Föhr is a small resort town on the North Frisian island of Föhr, and this 50 Pfennig note is a piece of Notgeld issued by the Altdeutscher Keller — a restaurant, not a municipal authority. Private commercial establishments issuing their own emergency currency during the 1920s inflation period was not unusual in Germany, but a restaurant-issued note with a named designer is a cut above the typical hastily printed scrip of the era.
Hans Westerwald's credit on a piece of this scale suggests the note was produced as much for the collector market as for actual change-making use — a common commercial reality for Serienscheine by 1921–1922.
