| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in a single dark tone on a stippled background, with two allegorical male figures flanking a central heraldic shield bearing an eagle and a rose — the arms of Bismark. The figure at left holds a sheaf of grain and the figure at right carries a hammer, symbolising agricultural and industrial labour. Denomination roundels reading 50 Pf. appear at lower left and lower right within circular borders. A motto runs along the top panel in Gothic script, and the validity date is inscribed along the lower margin. |
