| Obverse description | The note is divided into three vertical panels in a Notgeld letterpress style. The left panel carries the issuer inscription in gothic blackletter script and a facsimile signature of the acting Bürgermeister Schuster. The central vignette presents a standing figure in a long coat and gas mask holding a staff, set against a background view of a medieval tower and town buildings; the city's heraldic shield in turquoise and white is displayed at the figure's feet. The right panel states the denomination in large gothic script above a red serial number, with the validity legend at the lower margin. |
