| Description de l’avers | Printed on cream-yellow paper in dark brown ink, the obverse is framed by a bold arched border enclosing a central vignette of a Romanesque stone gateway with a heavy wooden door set within a rusticated brick arch, flanked by low walls and shrubbery. Above the arch, a six-line verse in Low German dialect is inscribed in letterpress. The denomination '50 PFENNIG 50' is set in large stylised numerals across the upper arch, while the lower margin carries the validity notice 'Gültig für den Geldverkehr innerhalb der Gemeinde bis zum 31. Mai 1922.' and the issuing authority 'Der Rat von Neukloster' with a manuscript signature beneath. |
