The issuing authority 'Der Magistrat' is printed in black at the top, while the denomination 'Eine halbe Mark' is overprinted in large red letterpress text across the centre, flanked by red numeral '50' at lower left and right. Below the denomination, the place of issue 'der Stadt Waldenburg i.
