| Obverse description | Green-bordered notgeld with two shield-shaped vignettes side by side: the left bearing the heraldic arms of Uslar — a rampant lion atop a stylised gateway — and the right enclosing the large numeral '50' in green. Between the shields, the issuer text 'DIESER GUTSCHEIN DER Stadt Uslar' is set in Gothic blackletter, with the validity clause 'wird ungültig 3 Monat nach Bekanntgabe' beneath. The Magistrat line carries a facsimile signature, and the designer credit 'KARL KLANKE' appears flanking the shields at lower left and right. |
