Obverse description Green-bordered notgeld with two shield-shaped vignettes side by side: the left bearing the heraldic arms of Uslar — a rampant lion atop a stylised gateway — and the right enclosing the large numeral '50' in green. Between the shields, the issuer text 'DIESER GUTSCHEIN DER Stadt Uslar' is set in Gothic blackletter, with the validity clause 'wird ungültig 3 Monat nach Bekanntgabe' beneath. The Magistrat line carries a facsimile signature, and the designer credit 'KARL KLANKE' appears flanking the shields at lower left and right.

Reverse description The left portion of the reverse is divided into two panels: the upper panel carries a four-line verse in Gothic blackletter set against horizontal green rules, and the lower panel bears the large green denomination '50 Pfg' with 'DER STADT USLAR' in bold sans-serif below. To the right, a full-height pen-and-ink caricature vignette portrays the orator Bode — an elderly bearded figure in a long coat and cap, holding a goblet — initialled 'KK' at lower left. The printer's imprint appears at the foot of the note.
Reverse lettering Noch hundert Jahr Nach meinem Tode Sprechen die Leute Vom Redner Bode! 50 Pfg DER STADT USLAR EDLER & KRISCHE, HANNOVER
