| 备注 |
Jever's 1921 Notgeld issue was one of hundreds of municipal emergency currencies authorized by German cities during the postwar coin shortage — small-denomination metal coinage had essentially vanished from circulation, hoarded or melted down, leaving towns to fill the gap with locally printed paper. The Gerhard Stalling press in Oldenburg was a regional workhorse for exactly this kind of commission, producing Notgeld runs for multiple Lower Saxon municipalities during 1920–1922.
Jever itself was a small administrative center in Friesland, and its issues tend to attract regional collectors more than international ones. Stalling's production quality was generally consistent, so printing defects are uncommon in this series.
