| 备注 |
Süderbrarup is a small market town in Schleswig-Holstein, a region whose political status was itself unresolved in 1920 — the Schleswig plebiscites of February and March that year were determining whether the territory would remain German or transfer to Denmark. This 50 Pfennig Notgeld was issued directly into that uncertainty, as the post-war coin shortage and rampant inflation had made small-denomination federal currency effectively unusable in day-to-day local trade.
Municipal Notgeld from towns of this size was typically printed in short runs by regional printers and redeemed within months, which is precisely why intact examples survive in greater numbers than their original circulation might suggest — collectors were actively acquiring them even at the time of issue.
