Obverse description The obverse is dominated by a large ornamental vignette of an oak-branch wreath surrounding the crowned Mecklenburg bull's head arms at centre, flanked by the bold denomination numerals '50' at left and the abbreviation 'Pfg.' at right in decorative letterpress. A Low German verse in cursive script arches across the upper portion of the note, while the lower margin carries the validity inscription and the issuing authority 'Der Rat der Stadt Lübz i/M.' with a manuscript signature at lower right. The artist's name 'Richard Zschêked' appears in small lettering at lower right of the central vignette.

Reverse description The reverse presents a central oval vignette with a letterpress view of a medieval round tower and adjacent half-timbered building in Lübz, set against a lightly hatched sky with orange tonal accents. The denomination '50' appears in large decorative numerals at both upper corners, each accompanied by the word 'Pfennig' beneath, while an elaborate foliate guilloche underprint fills the surrounding border areas. Below the oval, the legend 'Reutergeld der Stadt Lübz' is inscribed in Gothic script, with the artist's name 'Richard Zschêked' visible in small text along the upper border of the central frame.
