| Obverse description | Printed in terracotta-red on cream paper, the obverse centres on an oval vignette of a pastoral Dithmarschen landscape with cattle grazing in the foreground and a church steeple and windmill visible on the horizon. Flanking the central vignette are two vertical panels of fine foliate guilloche ornament, each enclosing a circular medallion bearing the monogram "50" in interlaced script. A serial-numbered coupon panel at the top carries the legend "Gutschein Nr." in Gothic letterpress, while a bottom panel contains the redemption clause in small Gothic type above a manuscript signature and the title "Bürgermeister". |
