背面描述	The reverse is printed in teal-green and black, with 'STADT ELBERFELD' across the top banner and an elaborate decorative border of Art Nouveau scrollwork and geometric zigzag columns framing the design. A central oval vignette contains a detailed black letterpress view of the Schwebebahn (Wuppertal suspension railway) over the river, with its characteristic latticed steel framework rendered in fine line engraving. Below the vignette, the city arms — a rampant lion on a quartered shield — are positioned centrally, flanked by the inscriptions 'STADTKASSE' and 'ELBERFELD' in the lower border panel, with the denomination '50' repeated in shield cartouches at upper left and upper right.
