| Vorderseitenbeschreibung | The obverse presents a lively Low German genre scene rendered in a folk-art illustrative style, with a central male figure in a long coat flanked by groups of costumed women in period dress against a decorative background. Text panels above the figures carry Low German dialect verse inscriptions, and the denomination '50 Pfennig' appears in large numerals at the lower centre. A validity statement below reads that the note is valid for local circulation until 31 May 1922, with the authorisation of the Gemeindevorstand of Klütz in Mecklenburg. |

| Rückseitenbeschreibung | The reverse carries a panoramic vignette of the town of Klütz with its prominent church steeple rising above trees and rooftops, rendered in a clean illustrative line style with blue tonal washes. A broad decorative ribbon banner across the lower portion of the vignette bears the inscription 'Reutergeld Klütz' in bold stylised lettering. The denomination '50 Pfennig' is set in large numerals beneath the ribbon, with an artist's signature in the lower right corner. |

| Anmerkungen |
Klütz is a small town in Mecklenburg, and like hundreds of German municipalities in 1921–1923, it issued its own Notgeld to address the acute shortage of small-change coinage that inflation had driven out of circulation. The 50 Pfennig denomination sits squarely in the sweet spot of the Kleingeldersatz era — low enough to serve everyday transactions, common enough that most municipalities printed it in quantity.
Survival rates for Klütz Notgeld are reasonable; collectors absorbed much of the print run before it ever circulated seriously, which was an open secret about the entire Notgeld phenomenon by 1922.
