| Description de l’avers | The central vignette carries the circular town seal of Sternberg in Mecklenburg, divided into two halves — a five-pointed star on a dark field to the left and a bull's head to the right — set against a radiating sunburst background within a serrated border. The title inscription 'Stadt Sternberg i. Meckl.' is set in Gothic script at the top, while the denomination '50 Pf.' appears in large calligraphic script in both flanking side panels. Below the vignette, a handwritten payment text in German Kurrent script reads the redemption obligation dated Sternberg, den 23. Januar 1922, countersigned by the town council and impressed with a red official town seal. |
