| Obverse description | Green and cream Notgeld note with a decorative Art Nouveau border of stylised scrollwork and acorn motifs. In the upper left, a full-colour armorial vignette displays the coat of arms of the Freiherren vom und zum Stein, flanked by elaborate mantling and surmounted by a crested helm with a rearing horse. To the right, a four-line Gothic-script verse inscription is set against the cream field, with a source attribution in parentheses below; the lower portion carries the issuer title in large Fraktur lettering, flanked by two dark green denomination panels bearing the numeral '50', with a central text panel stating the date of issue, expiry notice, and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister. The printer's imprint 'Hartmann Coblenz' appears at lower right. |
