| Obverse description | Vertical format note printed in orange, blue, and green. The upper half carries a bold panoramic silhouette vignette of the Schwerin city skyline — dominated by the spires and domes of Schwerin Castle — set against a semicircular orange sun motif, with green trees and a lakeside pavilion in the middle ground rendered in a Jugendstil woodcut style. Below the vignette, a four-line Low German verse in Gothic Fraktur script is printed in dark ink on the orange ground, followed by the validity inscription and the issuing authority "Rat der Stadt Schwerin i.
