| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse is executed in a two-colour silhouette style, with a grey and copper-orange palette on a dark foliate border incorporating hop and grape vine motifs referencing the town's viticultural heritage. A central oval vignette presents a black silhouette scene of townsfolk gathered at a tavern table, enclosed within a horseshoe-shaped ribbon cartouche bearing the Gothic-script legend 'Notgeld der Obst- und Weinstadt' and 'Grünberg/Schl.'; the dates '1222 / 1922' appear above, commemorating the town's 700th anniversary. The denomination '50' appears in large copper-orange Gothic numerals at upper left and right, the town arms are set below the central vignette, and the validity clause and a manuscript magistrate's signature appear at the lower margin. |

A large panoramic vignette occupies the full field, rendered in the cut-paper silhouette manner and signed 'fein.' at lower right; it illustrates Frederick the Great receiving a ceremonial toast ('Ehrentrunk') within the walls of Grünberg, with a horse-drawn carriage, mounted and standing figures, and period architecture suggested in the background. A copper-orange inscription in Roman type runs along the bottom margin identifying the historical scene. |
