The denomination "50 Pfennig" is printed in large bold numerals and lettering above the vignette, against a wood-grain textured border. Four lines of Low German verse in Gothic script occupy the upper border, while the validity clause, issuing authority "Rat der Landes-Hauptstadt Neustrelitz," and two facsimile signatures of the Mayor and City Councillor appear below the vignette. |

The issuing city name "Landeshauptstadt Neustrelitz" is printed in large bold Gothic lettering across the upper portion of the note against an amber-orange ground. At the foot of the note, three panels in alternating colours carry the denomination "50 Pf." twice and the inscription "Reutergeld" in the central panel, referencing the Low German poet Fritz Reuter. |
