Goch is a small town on the Lower Rhine, close to the Dutch border, and its 1922 notgeld issue belongs to the chaotic middle period of Weimar-era emergency money — after the immediate postwar coin shortages but before hyperinflation made small-denomination paper essentially worthless by late 1923.
