| Obverse description | Orange-gold and blue-grey bicolour notgeld with a central vignette of a full-length armoured knight in blue-grey holding a lance and shield, flanked on either side by large numeral '50' denomination figures. Two scroll-shaped panels flank the knight: the left bearing the redemption notice and serial number in Gothic script, the right bearing the place name, date of issue (27 April 1921), issuing authority 'Der Magistrat' and two manuscript facsimile signatures. The printer's imprint 'Louis Koch · Halberstadt·' appears at the bottom margin. |
