| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse is printed in black and orange on a pale ground, framed by a dark border with orange interlace ornaments at the lateral margins. At centre left, the municipal coat of arms of Lingen — a shield bearing three towers, supported by two rampant lions beneath a crown — forms the principal vignette. To the right, a block of Fraktur text sets out the note's conditions of acceptance and redemption, dated Lingen, den 1. April 1921, followed by two facsimile signatures for Der Magistrat and Das Bürgervorsteher-Kollegium. Orange ribbon banners at top and bottom carry the issuer name and denomination legends, with the numeral 50 displayed in large gothic figures at the upper centre and lower centre. |

An orange ribbon banner at the top carries the title inscription, while a second banner at the base gives the historical date. The central vignette reproduces a period woodcut-style bird's-eye plan of the walled town of Lingen, labelled LINGA, surrounded by besieging troops, cavalry, infantry formations, siege works, and military encampments arranged across the full field, evoking the siege of 1597. |
