| Beschrijving voorzijde | Printed in black on a pale blue underprint, the obverse is divided into an upper register bearing the denomination numeral '50' in large bold type flanked by the word 'PFENNIG' on both sides, with 'GUTSCHEIN' at left, and a lower register carrying the town name 'TRIPTIS i. Thüringen' in bold capitals. At lower left, the municipal coat of arms of Triptis is set within an ornate Art Nouveau cartouche of foliate scrollwork. A light-toned panel at centre-right carries the issue date 'Triptis d. 1 Jan. 1921.' above the printed authority line 'der Stadtgemeindevorstand' and a manuscript facsimile signature. The validity inscription 'Gültig bis 1. Jan. 1923.' appears in the bottom border strip. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed in black on a pale blue ground, the reverse is dominated by an allegorical vignette illustrating the twin pillars of the local economy: at left, a factory worker in working dress shoulders a tool before an industrial backdrop of factory buildings and a large gear wheel, while at right a farmer leans on a scythe beside a field of grain. At centre, three medallion vignettes display craft and trade guild emblems, above which a small building motif appears. The bold denomination inscription '50 PFENNIG' occupies the full width of the dark upper banner. The printer's imprint 'C. Herrmann, Meißen' appears in small type at lower right. |
