| Obverse description | The note is printed in red, black, and ochre yellow on cream paper. A scrolled banner at the top carries the issuer's title in Gothic script, flanked by two medieval armoured figures standing as guardians at left and right. The centre field bears a large numeral '50' underprint in yellow, over which the denomination 'über Fünfzig Pfennig' is set in bold Gothic letterpress. At the bottom centre, the municipal coat of arms of Neuruppin — an eagle on a shield — is framed by ornate red acanthus scrollwork, with date and magistrate signature boxes at lower left and right respectively. |
