| Obverse description | The obverse is divided into a tripartite layout with large bold denomination numerals '50' flanking a central vignette on each side, below which 'Pfennig' is inscribed in gothic script. The central vignette presents a woodcut-style view of the Schlosseingang (castle entrance) in Gebesee, rendered with trees and a domed tower, captioned with a scroll bearing the word 'Schlosseingang'. The lower register carries three smaller vignettes depicting agricultural motifs — grain, a figure with implements, and root vegetables — while the flanking text panels carry the validity notice and the issuing authority, dated 14. Oktober 1921, with two manuscript signatures above the legend 'Der Magistrat'. |
