正面描述 Printed in black on buff paper, the obverse is framed by a theatrical curtain vignette with draped fabric, tassels forming the upper border, and parted curtains at the sides, creating the illusion of a stage placard. The central field carries the text of issue in Fraktur letterpress, with the denomination "Fünfzig Pfennig" set in a larger typeface, followed by the place and date of issue, the authority line "Der Gemeinderat," and a facsimile signature of the 1. Bürgermeister. The printer's imprint of J. A. Schwarz, Lindenberg i. Allgäu, appears along the lower margin.

备注

Partenkirchen issued this Notgeld note independently in 1921, before its administrative merger with Garmisch in 1935 created the hyphenated town most people recognize today. The merger was politically engineered ahead of the 1936 Winter Olympics — the Nazis wanted a single, larger host municipality — which makes pre-merger Partenkirchen material a minor footnote in that history.

J. Adolf Schwarz of Lindenberg im Allgäu was a regional printer serving numerous small Bavarian and Allgäu municipalities during the Notgeld period, not one of the major Leipzig or Berlin houses that dominated larger-denomination emergency issues.
