| Beschrijving keerzijde | Orange and black letterpress reverse with a symmetrical tripartite composition on an amber foliate underprint. The wide central panel contains a detailed street-level view of the Finkenburg in Nordhausen — a steep stone stairway flanked by ivy-covered historic buildings receding toward an open sky with trees. Flanking panels at left and right each carry a shield bearing the numeral '50' surmounted by a black bird (a finch, alluding to the Finkenburg), set against the foliate background, with 'Pfennig' in Gothic script below each shield.
