正面描述 Central vignette in black and green tones presents a pastoral landscape with a stone bridge, a large tree, conifers, and a manor house rendered in a woodcut style. A decorative border of white blossoms and green foliage in Jugendstil manner frames the entire note, with denomination numerals '50' in red at each corner. Inscriptions in Gothic script appear vertically along the left and right margins and horizontally above and below the vignette, referencing the historical destruction of the castle during the Thirty Years' War and its subsequent rebuilding by F. W. Kalb.

备注

Kalbsrieth is a village in the Kyffhäuser district that in 1921 had a population barely numbering in the hundreds. The decision to issue Notgeld at this scale was driven less by genuine monetary necessity than by the collector market that had developed around municipal emergency money — by 1921, many small Thuringian communities were printing series specifically to sell to collectors, with circulation an afterthought. Adolf Forker in Leipzig handled a substantial volume of this type of provincial work.

Whether this note ever changed hands in actual commerce is doubtful.
