Reverse description Woodcut-style vignette printed in black, red, and ochre, enclosed within a red-ruled frame and flanked by ornamental side borders in white-on-black. The central scene illustrates an episode from Ettlingen's medieval history in which armed soldiers confront nuns at the gate of a convent, rendered in a boldly simplified graphic manner recalling early German woodblock illustration. Above the vignette a two-line rhyming couplet in Gothic script reads 'Da hatt' einmal, in alter Zeit, Ettlingen mit den Frauen Streit,' and a concluding couplet below reads 'die auf dem ehmals städtschen Plan ein reiches Kloster hatten stahn.'
