Obverse description The obverse carries a large central vignette with a panoramic view of the town of Scheibenberg set against a yellow underprint sky, with a uniformed miner figure standing to the right holding a lamp and staff. The denomination '50 Pfennig' is inscribed in bold gothic script across the upper portion of the vignette, while decorative side panels bear repeated crossed-hammer mining symbols within diamond-shaped cartouches. A lower panel contains the serial number at left, the issuing authority text at centre, and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister at right, with the printer's imprint 'Flath & Reimert, Scheibenberg' below.
