The centre is occupied by three interlocking circular medallions: the dominant central disc bears the denomination '50 PFENNIGE' in white numerals on a dark ground, flanked by two smaller yellow-highlighted roundels containing heraldic vignettes — a heron or stork to the left and a rampant lion to the right. A validity notice in sans-serif capitals runs along the lower margin. |
