Denomination roundels '50 Pfennig' appear at upper left and upper right, a redemption notice in blackletter script occupies the lower left, and the issuing authority line 'Waltershausen den 1. Juli 1921. Der Stadtrat:' with a facsimile signature is placed at lower right.
