| Obverse description | Notgeld issue printed in dark brown on cream paper, with a guilloche-patterned side panel on each lateral margin bearing the denomination numeral '50' at upper and lower corners. The central vignette renders a silhouette of the Quedlinburg castle and collegiate church rising dramatically against radiating sunburst lines, executed in a bold Expressionist woodcut style.
