Ihm gebührt der Ruhm, durch seine Werke „Die Ahnen”, „Bilder aus der deutschen Vergangenheit”, „Soll und Haben”, „Die verlorene Handschrift” u. a. m. die deutsche Literatur bereichert zu haben. Er lebte auf seinem Landsitz zu Siebleben und in Wiesbaden. Seine letzte Ruhestätte fand er auf dem Friedhof zu Siebleben. |
