正面描述	Dark-ground Notgeld note printed in black and red, with the Gothic-script heading 'Notgeld · Stadt · Neustadt a. Rbge.' in a framed banner across the top. A central diamond-shaped vignette presents a panoramic landscape view of the castle (Schloß) dated A.D. 1654, flanked on each side by circular denomination numerals '50' in bold red letterpress. The town's heraldic shield — showing two brick towers with a rampant lion — is placed at the base, above a lower text panel giving the validity notice, issuance date of 1 May 1921, and the manuscript signatures of the Magistrat.
