At centre, the municipal coat of arms of Buttstädt is rendered as a red shield bearing a winged angel of justice holding a sword and scales over a rampant lion, flanked by the date 1637 and surmounted by a fleur-de-lis base shield; stone gate pillars flank the composition on either side. The denomination "50 PF-" appears in large numerals at left and right, with a scroll at lower left carrying the validity clause and two manuscript signatures below the titles "Der Gemeindevorstand" and "Der Gemeinderat", with a handwritten serial number at lower right. |
