| Reverse description | Brown on cream paper with a fine dotted border. The composition is divided into three vertical panels: the left and right panels each contain a full-length figure of a Renaissance-era armoured guard holding a halberd, set against a background of a castle tower and parkland. The central panel bears a framed historical inscription in Gothic script referencing Wolfgang, Prince of Anhalt, Count of Ascania and Lord of Bernburg, dated 1540, surmounted by the quartered Anhalt coat of arms. A banner spanning the full width of the upper register carries a civic motto in Gothic lettering. The lower section contains a wide cartouche with the inscription commemorating the elevation of Hoym to town status in 1540, flanked by the denomination numeral '50' in bold octagonal frames at each corner. |
