背面描述 The reverse presents a detailed woodcut-style vignette occupying the central field, illustrating a scene from the Dessau folk song 'Anna Liese': several figures in Renaissance costume are gathered before a townhouse facade, with the caption 'Anna Liese' inscribed in red script at the centre of the scene and a panel number '2' in the lower right corner. A decorative border of alternating red, yellow, and green geometric and triangular motifs frames the entire note, with the text 'So leben wir' repeated vertically along both lateral margins. Four lines of verse in Gothic blackletter script occupy the lower margin.
背面铭文 So leben wir alle tage
Anna Liese
Das Fürstenrecht in allen Ehren,
Ich dulde keines Hofmanns Tadel;
Mein Weib nur soll mir niemand wehren,
So wie sie ist auch ohne Adel.

备注

Dessau's 1921 Notgeld issue came out of the same inflationary pressure squeezing municipal budgets across Weimar Germany — small change had effectively disappeared from circulation as metal coinage was hoarded or melted, forcing hundreds of cities to print their own emergency fractional currency. Ratsdruckerei R. Dulce in Glauchau was one of several regional printers kept busy filling that gap, producing runs for multiple municipalities rather than operating as a dedicated security printer.

The DeNG reference numbers 266.1 and 266.2 indicate two distinct varieties within the series — likely differentiated by color, date, or minor typographic variation rather than a reissue event.
