A large diagonal banderole in cream overlays the centre, carrying the denomination text and the voucher conditions in Gothic script. To the right, a woodcut-style illustration of a pensive bearded elder wearing a brimmed hat is rendered in blue and ochre tones, his hands raised thoughtfully to his chin — a folk-art motif characteristic of the German Notgeld aesthetic of the early 1920s. |
