背面描述 The reverse carries a panoramic colour vignette of the medieval townscape of Münstermaifeld as seen across a river, with half-timbered houses, towers, and the collegiate church visible against a pale sky. To the left stands a full-length figure of a Roman legionary in armour holding a spear, alluding to the town's Roman foundation. A circular inset medallion at lower right contains a portrait head identified by a rotated caption as Emperor Caligula. The denomination "50 Pf." appears in red within shield cartouches at upper left and upper right, and the printer's imprint "Albert Fastenrath, Elberfeld" runs along the lower margin.

备注

Münstermaifeld is a small town in the Eifel region of the Rhineland, and its 1921 Notgeld issues were produced during the height of Germany's municipal emergency currency wave — when thousands of towns printed their own small-denomination paper to compensate for the chronic shortage of coin. Albert Fastenrath in Elberfeld was a regional commercial printer, not a specialist banknote firm, which accounts for the relatively modest production quality common to this series.

The DeNG reference covers two distinct varieties (919.1 and 919.2), differentiated by minor typographic or color variations — the kind of distinction that drives specialist collectors and frustrates generalists.
