背面描述	Dark navy blue on cream paper, with the denomination '50 PFENNIG' rendered in large red and black numerals at centre. Two caricatured top-hatted bourgeois figures flank the central numeral, while a panoramic vignette of an industrial skyline with factory chimneys occupies the upper background, all executed in an Expressionist graphic style by Jos. Dominicus. A four-line satirical verse in Gothic script runs along the lower portion of the note, with the printer's imprint at the foot.
