Höxter', the Gemeindevorsteher designation, and a manuscript signature. The validity legend 'Gültig bis zum 1. März 1922.' is placed at lower left. |

| 备注 |
Herstelle is a small village on the Weser River in what is now North Rhine-Westphalia, and its appearance as a Notgeld issuer in 1921 is entirely typical of the period — the postwar coin shortage forced even the smallest German municipalities to print their own fractional emergency currency. By 1921 the inflation that would become catastrophic by 1923 was already eroding purchasing power steadily, and 50 Pfennig notes were among the most practically necessary denominations in daily local trade.
Herstelle Notgeld issues are not among the extensively documented series; collector demand for this specific municipality has remained modest.
