| Description de l’avers | Brown and cream Notgeld note framed by an ornate foliate border enclosing four corner vignettes: upper left shows a sheaf of wheat with a scythe, upper right a sailing vessel, lower left a hammer and sickle crossed, and lower right a tree stump with an axe. The central panel bears the issuing authority legend 'Stadt Gollnow' in Gothic script at the top, with the denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' inscribed below in bold cursive lettering, flanked on either side by numeral '50' panels reading 'Pfennige'. The date 'Gollnow 1. Jan. 1921' and the authority designation 'Der Magistrat' appear beneath the denomination, accompanied by two facsimile signatures, with lower lateral panels carrying the redemption text and the printer's imprint 'H. Susenbeth Stettin' at the bottom. |

Flanking the central scene on left and right are two identical oval cartouches each enclosing the Gollnow civic arms — a lion above a boat on water — surmounted by a decorative scroll. The denomination '50 Pfennige' appears in bold numerals within vertical panels on each side, with 'Gollnow' inscribed above each numeral panel, and the printer's imprint 'H. Susenbeth. Stettin' set at the lower margin. |
