A text panel at lower left contains the redemption inscription in Gothic script, while a dated authority panel at lower right bears the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat' with two facsimile signatures. The serial number is printed in red at lower centre, and the printer's imprint 'Louis Koch Halberstadt' appears at the very foot of the design. |

The denomination '50' appears at lower left and lower right in bold numerals, with the place name 'Halberstadt a.H.' in a panel below the central scene. Banner inscriptions at upper left and upper right read 'Fünfzig' and 'Pfennig' respectively, and a local dialect motto is lettered at lower right. |
