To the right, a large illustrated scroll unfurls bearing a facsimile of a historical charter, annotated with the text referencing the grant of town rights by Ludwig von Bayern on 10 August 1321; at upper right the denomination '50 Pfennig' is printed in bold Gothic lettering alongside the inscription '600 jähriges Stadtjubiläum 1321–1921'. A red wax seal vignette appears at centre below the scroll, and the date 'Butzbach, den 6. Mai 1921' together with the Mayor's facsimile signature appears at lower right. |

The left border carries a hexagonal panel with the numeral '50' in blue and a small scene of an agricultural worker, flanked by a fruit-laden branch captioned 'Der Segen der Wetterau'; the right border mirrors this with a coloured hexagonal panel bearing the Butzbach civic arms and a scene of a craftsman at a well, also captioned 'Der Segen der Wetterau'.
