| Description de l’avers | Olive-green and black Notgeld voucher with the town name 'Bad Lauterberg im Harz' in gothic blackletter across the upper banner, beneath which a rhyming Harz motto runs in a secondary band. The central vignette presents the municipal coat of arms — a quartered shield in red and white with a six-pointed star at base, surmounted by a crowned wild man and flanked by scrollwork supporters — set within a decorative border, with stylised fir tree and mountain silhouettes filling the lateral panels. The denomination '50 Pfennig' and the legend 'Gutschein' appear in large gothic lettering in the lower register, accompanied by the issue date 15. Juli 1921, the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat', two manuscript signatures, and a red serial number at lower right. |
