The central vignette presents a colour lithograph of the Rossbach Siegesdenkmal — a monumental brick memorial erected in 1860 by Friedrich Wilhelm IV — its recessed relief panel showing a mounted Prussian officer triumphing over fallen enemies, with a Prussian eagle plaque above. Trees and architectural surroundings complete the scene. The caption SIEGESDENKMAL. appears at the upper left, and a three-line commemorative inscription in German runs across the lower panel of the note. |
