Obverse description The obverse is dominated by a central oval vignette of an armed insurgent soldier set against a dramatic backdrop of burning industrial facilities and mine headframes, flanked by crossed bugles — an allusion to the Third Silesian Uprising of 1921. Above, a banner cartouche bears the town name BIELSCHOWITZ in bold red letterpress, with bilingual text panels in German (upper left) and Polish (upper right) identifying the note as Notgeld commemorating the Polish uprising. Below the central vignette, the denomination '50 Pfennig' appears in a red-bordered panel, flanked by parallel bilingual authority and validity inscriptions in cursive script, dated 29 July 1921.

Reverse description The reverse is divided into three vertical panels: the left and right side panels each carry the numeral '50' in large gold figures within a guilloche-bordered frame, accompanied by black silhouette vignettes of a standing male worker — one drinking from a vessel, the other gesturing upward. The wide central panel presents a detailed multicolour topographic vignette of a military assembly square — identified by the heading 'Sitz des Gruppenkommandos-Ost' — with ranked soldiers, vehicles, and period buildings surrounded by trees. Two circular seal medallions appear at the top of the central panel: the left bearing crossed mining hammers with the legend 'Gmina Bielszowice, Powiat Zabrski', and the right bearing an eagle with the legend 'Komenda placu Bielszowice'.
