| Obverse description | Blue-ground note with a central vignette of a stylised rosette or prize-ribbon motif in black, red, and yellow, at the centre of which sits a square diamond cartouche bearing the denomination '50 Pf' in bold script. Handwritten-style text in German script fills the upper field on both sides of the central device, stating the redemption and validity conditions. The issuer name 'Vegesack' and date '13.5.21' appear in the lower left, with 'Die Stadtverwaltung' and two facsimile signatures at lower right, and a manuscript serial number prefixed 'Nr.' at the bottom left. |
