Reverse description Ochre-toned reverse in the same woodcut graphic style, showing a mounted armoured knight on a rearing white horse gesturing toward a standing medieval figure, with a stylised townscape of Herne visible in the middle ground. A large decorative banner scroll at upper centre carries a four-line Low German verse; the denomination "50 Pfg." appears in a pennant at upper left and "50 Pfennig" at upper right. A small panel numbered "1" is set in the upper left corner, indicating this is the first of a series of reverses.
