| Reverse description | The reverse is likewise arranged in three vertical panels. The central panel is dominated by a large ornamental letter 'R' rendered in a cobblestone-textured mosaic style, with a vignette of root vegetables — a turnip and a red radish — overlaid upon it, and a small crown device at top. The left panel presents a detailed architectural view of the Dornburger Tor as seen from the interior side circa 1750, and the right panel shows the same gate from the exterior, both rendered in a polychrome illustrative style; the denomination '50' appears in red at the upper corners of each flanking panel, with the place name 'Zerbst' at lower left and 'i. Anhalt' at lower right. |
