Upper left and right corners bear small vignettes of costumed male and female figures in regional dress, flanking the issuer inscription 'Stadt Zell i/w' in a Gothic script cartouche at top centre. The date 'Zell, 1. Okt. 1921' and the municipal council signature appear below the denomination, with a validity clause in Gothic script reading 'Gültig bis 1.
